On December 13, 2023, the Social Forces Supporting the Tengchong Scientists Forum Exchange Meeting was held in Kunming. The event aimed to thank various social participants for their strong support of the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum and to mobilize all sectors of society to continue contributing to the creation of a world-class scientific forum with Chinese characteristics and Yunnan features.

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Co-Chair of the Tengchong Scientists Forum, and Chairman of the Yunnan Tengchong Scientists Forum Center, Rao Zihe; forum advisor and former Governor of Yunnan Province, Xu Rongkai; Director of the Tengchong Scientists Forum Organizing Committee Office, Party Secretary, and Director of the Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, Wang Xueqin; 2023 Forum Strategic Partner Representative and President of Yunnan Baiyao Group, Dong Ming; and representative of the sub-forum organizing unit and President of Kunming Medical University, Xia Xueshan, delivered speeches. Secretary-General and Director of the Yunnan Tengchong Scientists Forum Center, Chen Yu, announced the 2024 forum market cooperation plan. Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, Zhu Weimo, attended the exchange meeting. The meeting was chaired by Ma Minxiang, Deputy Director of the Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology.

In his speech, Wang Xueqin stated that the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum gathered talents from all over the world. Many colleagues from the organizing committee member units, event organizers, and partners worked diligently and intelligently for the successful hosting of the forum. Although they come from different departments and positions, they united and strived for the great cause of the Tengchong Scientists Forum. Wang hopes that everyone will continue their efforts and achieve new successes for next year's forum. The Tengchong Scientists Forum is a platform for open cooperation. He sincerely invited various enterprises and institutions to continue their concern and support for the forum. Wang encouraged deep participation and support in areas such as award selection, forum organization, conference cooperation, brand promotion, results transformation, and investment incubation, looking forward to building a platform for exchange and cooperation among scientists, entrepreneurs, and financiers, and contributing to the deepening of international scientific and technological cooperation and the high-quality economic and social development of Yunnan.

At the exchange meeting, Academician Rao Zihe awarded a plaque to the strategic partner of the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum, Yunnan Baiyao Group, and launched the global recruitment of partners for the 2024 Tengchong Scientists Forum. Cooperation plans were also announced concerning forum organization, results transformation and investment incubation, and the Tengchong Science Awards.

From December 1 to 3, the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum was successfully held, presenting a brilliant, high-end, and fruitful scientific event. The forum widely mobilized social forces for support and participation, forming an operational mechanism of "government support, enterprise leadership, and market operation." Strategic partnerships were established with Yunnan Baiyao Group and Dabeinong Group, and cooperative relationships with over 20 companies including Kweichow Moutai Group, Tencent Cloud, and Lu Nan Pharmaceutical. More than 100 domestic and international research institutes, enterprises, social organizations, and financial institutions participated in the forum's organization and implementation. The forum broadened the path for technological innovation cooperation in Yunnan. Many partners have recognized the enormous development potential and expressed their willingness to grow, build, share, and win together with the future "Davos of Science."

Representatives from the Provincial Science and Technology Department, Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Baoshan City, and Tengchong City; members of the forum organizing committee; main participants and partners of the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum parallel sub-forums and thematic series activities; and leaders from relevant universities and research institutes attended the exchange meeting.
