October 9th, 2024, 58 days before the opening of this year's Tengchong Scientists' Forum, Tengchong Scientists' Forum Chairman Academician Gu Binglin, Tengchong Scientists' Forum Co-Chairman Academician Xu Zhihong, Tengchong Scientists' Forum Co-Chairman, Forum Centre Chairman Academician Rao Zihe, convened a meeting on the preparatory work for the 2024 Tengchong Scientists' Forum in Beijing. Listen to the current forum preparations report, around the guest invitation, opening ceremony, keynote forum, sub-forum and series of activities preparation, Tengchong Science Award selection, international organisations to declare and other matters, refine the study, promote the preparatory work for the 2024 Forum. Ma Minxiang, Vice President of Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology, and Chen Yu, Secretary General and Director of Tengchong Scientist Forum Centre, attended the meeting.

The three academicians said that with the joint efforts of all parties, the preliminary preparations for this year's Forum were fruitful. It is believed that under the co-ordination and promotion of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government and China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), with the strong support of Tsinghua University, Peking University and Nankai University, and the participation and support of many domestic and foreign scientists, entrepreneurs and financiers, 2024 will surely present another star-studded, high-end featured scientific and technological community event again.

The 2024 TSF will be held from December 6th to 8th, 2024, with the theme of Science·Global Innovation and Scientists' Mission - Science and Technology Enabling High Quality Development. The opening ceremony, keynote forum, university presidents' forum, young scientists' forum, industrial innovation development forum, entrepreneurs' innovation forum, science and technology finance forum, artificial intelligence forum and other 10 sub-forums will be held.
