On June 12, 2025, the Organizing Committee of Tengchong Scientists Forum paid a visit to Tsinghua University, Peking University and Nankai University successively, thanking the three universities for their great support to Tengchong Scientists Forum, deepening the cooperation in science and technology innovation between the three universities and Yunnan Province, and jointly studying and promoting the preparations for 2025 Tengchong Scientists Forum. Wang Xueqin, Vice Governor of Yunnan Provincial People's Government and Director of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, Zhang Xiangming, Deputy Secretary General of Yunnan Provincial People's Government and Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, and Gao Jun, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Yunnan Province and Director of the Office of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, took part in the relevant activities.

Meeting with Tsinghua University

Academician Li Luming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Tsinghua University, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Gao Yong, met with the Organizing Committee of the Forum. Li Luming expressed his hope to continuously deepen the cooperation between Tsinghua University and Yunnan Province and serve the high-quality development of Yunnan's economy and society. Meeting with Peking University

Academician Park Se-long, Vice President of Peking University, met with the organizing committee. Park Shilong said that Peking University attaches great importance to the preparatory work of Tengchong Scientists Forum, and has repeatedly studied and promoted the organization and planning of this year's university presidents' forum, set up a task force to carry out theme selection, activity arrangement and guest invitation, and cooperated with Yunnan University in organizing a good forum. Meeting with Nankai University

Chen Yulu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Nankai University, Fang Yongchun and Bai Chengming, Vice Presidents of Nankai University, met with the organizing committee. Chen Yulu said that young talents are the most potential group in Tengchong Scientists Forum, Nankai University will continue to participate in organizing the Young Scientists Forum, and jointly contribute to the cultivation of young talents.
