The 9th China-South Asia Expo and the 29th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “9th South Asia Expo”) will be held from June 19 to 24 at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a major highlight of this event, the Tengchong Scientists Forum will establish an exhibition zone for the first time at the 9th South Asia Expo, infusing the event with a strong scientific and technological atmosphere.

The Tengchong Scientists Forum Image Exhibition Zone is located in Hall 11—Medical, Sports, and Health Care Pavilion. The exhibition zone will comprehensively showcase the origins, achievements, and far-reaching influence of the Tengchong Scientists Forum. Since its successful inaugural event in 2022, the Tengchong Scientists Forum has been held three times, attracting numerous scientists, educators, entrepreneurs, and financiers from both domestic and international backgrounds. The forum has consistently aimed to establish platforms for the exchange of advanced academic ideas, government-industry-academia-research collaboration, technology transfer, and scientific cooperation between China and South Asian and Southeast Asian nations. It has gradually evolved into a influential forum in the scientific field, fostering dialogue between Chinese and global science and technology, and promoting collective progress in global scientific advancement.

In the image exhibition area of this South China Fair, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the forum's detailed information and achievements, and experience the powerful momentum it brings to scientific and technological development. Additionally, the exhibition area will use text, images, and videos to revisit the highlights of the forum's previous editions, allowing those who were unable to attend the forum in person to quickly grasp its high-level academic atmosphere and innovative vitality.

The debut of the Tengchong Scientists Forum image exhibition area at the South China Fair will further expand the forum's influence and build a broader platform for exchange between the domestic and international science and technology communities. By showcasing the forum's achievements, it will enable more participants to understand the powerful force of science and technology in empowering industrial development, attract more attention, and allow the light of science and technology to illuminate the path of development in broader fields.

Exhibition Tips

The exhibition zone is themed “Science and Technology Leading the Future” and is divided into a forum display area, a negotiation area, and an interactive experience area. In the forum display area, you can learn about the forum's origins, development, and future direction; the negotiation area provides an immediate communication bridge for visiting guests, allowing them to interact with on-site staff to understand forum activities and partner-related information; the interactive experience area features AI experiences, enabling visitors to experience domestic AI large models and learn about the forum's proceedings.
